Sometimes, when we do random doodles, we come across something unexpected. I was practicing on drawing different face shapes in a semi-cartoon style when I started drawing in a huge pair of eyes. They were just like the ones I used to draw before, a style I've taken a break from, to practice cartoons and anatomy. 

I felt relief to draw this way again to be honest. There's just something about eyes that pulls me deeper. And then from here came a series of ladies with expressive eyes, drawn with my trusty and slightly battered pencils.
